Open Question: How can I get my money back?

6 months ago I lent my friend 20 thousand dollars when I was living at her house, for her to show her bank that she has monthly income from a reliable tenant. She wanted to do this because she is behind on her mortgage and needs to refinance....Needs to get a loan from the bank. It turns out that she wasn't able to pay me because the bank said No to her. Now she paid off her debt and some Mortgage with my money!!! And now I have nothing! What should I do????
