Default Open Question: Ohio Mortgage?

OK, I messed up and got behind on my mortgage. I made a payment arrangement with my bank and I lived up to it. In fact I just made the final payment. My problem, in order to remain current I have to make March's mortgage payment tomorrow. I just got paid so I was able to make the last default agreement payment there's no way I can make a second mortgage payment. I'm living paycheck to paycheck as is. The bank says in order to change the due date I have to refinance. Is there anything else I can do to avoid this? Do I have any legal recourse? Does anyone know where I can find information about this? Thanks.
